Harbour Island boasts three and a half miles of the most beautiful beach in the Caribbean, if not the world. The Easter House is located just steps from the beach, and is adjacent to the world famous Pink Sands Hotel. Located within walking distance of quaint colonial Dunmore Town, this four bedroom beach bungalow is the perfect secluded setting for your Bahamian vacation.

If you were expecting to find information about Clark Cottage here, we are pleased to announce that we have recently purchased and renovated The Easter House, a property just across the street from Clark Cottage in the same neighborhood of homes by the beach. (We are no longer renting the Clark Cottage.)

The Easter House was built in the late 1970’s in the community of houses just north of the Pink Sands hotel on Harbour Island’s world famous beach.

The house has four bedrooms and a spacious living room with breathtaking views of the ocean and southern Eleuthera. We have just completed an extensive renovation, including the three bathrooms and central air conditioning.

The first floor of the house has an entry hall and large living room with glass sliding doors on two sides that open on to an outside deck. The living room also includes a dining area and a working stone fireplace. There is a spacious kitchen with a full suite of appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave and washer / dryer.

There are two bedrooms on the main floor (one king and one queen) both with en suite bathrooms and direct access to the large outside deck. The upstairs bedrooms (both with 2 twin beds) share a bath and have spectacular views of the water. There are also two small outside decks upstairs.
Finally, we have recently recruited a first rate housekeeper, who will ensure that your visit to the Easter House is as comfortable as possible.

Harbour Island is the “jewel” in the crown of the Bahamas. The bucolic feeling of Dunmore Town owes much to the architecture of the American Loyalists, who colonized the island following American Revolution. The easy rhythm of the island comes from the friendly people who live there, the breathtaking beach, and the beautiful weather.
For a map and photos of Harbour Island, visit Guide to Harbour Island Bahamas website.

Harbour Island is serviced by the North Eleuthera, Bahamas airport (Airport Code: ELH), which is two miles away by water. You can fly directly to North Eleuthra from Miami, Fort Lauderdale or Nassau by frequent air commuter and charter services and as well by a “fast ferry” from Nassau, which departs twice daily. From North Eleuthera a quick water taxi will take you to the government dock on Harbour Island.
